We are seeking a caring and reliable breakfast club assistant to join our friendly team at Locking Primary School. This part-time, term-time only school job is ideal for someone looking for morning work, excellent work–life balance, or a role within education support staff. You will help deliver a welcoming school breakfast club for children aged 4–11, ensuring pupils start each school day safe, happy and ready to learn.

Hours: 10 hours per week, Monday to Friday 7:30am - 9:30am

Contract: Permanent, Term Time Only

As a Breakfast Club Assistant, your duties will include:

  • Preparing and serving a healthy breakfast in a clean, safe environment
  • Supervising children and leading safe, creative play activities
  • Setting up and packing away equipment, furniture and resources
  • Ensuring rooms and storage areas are clean, tidy and organised
  • Recording attendance accurately and efficiently
  • Safeguarding pupils and reporting health, safety or child protection concerns
  • Communicating effectively with parents, carers and school staff
  • Escorting pupils safely to their classrooms at the start of the school day
