Enterprise Business Services (EBS) consists of LMUK IT Services, Payroll, ESH, HR, and Finance functions. With employees located throughout the UK, EBS provides UK-wide support to the LMUK business areas.

Reporting directly to the Head of HR UK, you\’ll serve as the primary HR Business Partner for one or more Business Areas or Functions. This role combines strategic thinking with hands-on delivery, making it ideal for someone who thrives on variety, challenge, and collaboration. You\’ll be a trusted advisor to senior leaders, helping shape and implement people strategies that support business priorities, improve performance, and foster a high-performing, inclusive culture.

What You\’ll Be Doing

  • Lead and coordinate a wide range of HR activities, including workforce planning, organisational development, employee relations, and performance management.
  • Participate in leadership meetings and strategic discussions to ensure HR has a voice in decision-making.
  • Manage and develop a dedicated HR team, providing leadership, coaching, and performance support.
  • Act as an escalation point for complex employee relations cases, offering expert advice aligned with UK employment law and internal policies.
  • Support the delivery of talent, compensation, and development programmes in collaboration with Centres of Expertise.
  • Contribute to wider HR initiatives and UK-wide transformation projects, shaping future ways of working.

Candidate Profile

To succeed, you should be a skilled HR professional with a strong generalist background and leadership experience. Comfortable navigating a fast-paced, matrixed environment, you should be able to influence and collaborate at all levels. Key requirements include:

  • A degree in HR, Business, or a related field (CIPD Level 7 preferred).
  • Significant HR management experience, preferably in complex, high-tech, or engineering environments.
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
  • Experience leading and developing HR teams.
  • Proven ability to implement strategic people initiatives and manage change.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive, delivery-focused with strong organisational skills.
  • High IT literacy, including HR systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Eligibility to obtain UK Security Clearance (SC).
