Lockhart recruitment are delighted to be recruiting for a Secretary - Legal Assistant to join a well-established and highly regarded law firm in the heart of Plymouth. Working within the Private Client Department, you will support a close-knit team of solicitors dealing with Wills, Probate, Trusts and Estate Administration.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong organisational, secretarial and administrative skills who enjoys being busy and taking pride in delivering exceptional support.
The Role
- Providing day-to-day administrative support to solicitors and fee earners
- Preparing legal documents, correspondence and forms
- Opening and closing client files
- Managing diaries, appointments and meetings
- Handling incoming and outgoing post, emails and telephone enquiries
- Liaising professionally with clients, beneficiaries and third parties
- Assisting with probate and estate administration paperwork
- Organising and managing documents and filing systems
- Drafting routine correspondence and ensuring all documents are accurately produced
- Assisting with billing and file management procedures
- General office administration and ad hoc duties as required
About You
