A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Stairlift Engineer to join a respected and growing charitable organisation. You’ll be carrying out installation, servicing and repairs of stairlifts in customers’ homes, so a strong technical background and a genuinely warm, customer-focused approach are essential.
The Role
- Install, service and repair stairlifts and mobility lifting equipment.
- Diagnose faults and carry out mechanical and electrical repairs.
- Complete safety checks, testing and compliance documentation.
- Provide clear, reassuring communication to customers in their homes.
- Maintain the company van, tools and equipment to a high standard.
- Work independently, managing your own workload and daily schedule.
About You
- Previous experience as a Stairlift Engineer, Lift Engineer, Mobility Engineer or similar.
- Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills.
- Confident working in customers’ homes with a friendly, respectful manner.
- Full UK driving licence (company van provided).
- Able to work independently with a high level of professionalism.
- A positive attitude and commitment to excellent customer service.
