The Role - Senior Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineer
You’ll be travelling across the South West attending a wide variety of client sites — from dentists and doctors’ surgeries to freezer rooms, manufacturing facilities and commercial premises. No two days look the same.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Attending customer sites to diagnose and resolve refrigeration or air-conditioning issues
- Problem-solving and identifying the best technical solutions
- Pricing jobs and providing clear, accurate information to customers
- Delivering excellent customer service and representing the business professionally
- Completing paperwork and ensuring compliance standards are met
There are two opportunities within the team:
- Senior Refrigeration Engineer (Technical Focus) - Perfect for someone who wants to focus on hands-on engineering, fault-finding and customer visits.
- Senior Refrigeration Engineer with Project Management - Ideal for a more experienced engineer who wants to take on additional responsibility, including:
- Managing projects from initial enquiry to completion
- Ensuring quotes are sent and followed up
- Scheduling jobs and coordinating workloads
- Overseeing effective billing and job management
- Acting as a key point of contact for customers
What You’ll Need
To be considered, you must hold one of the following:
- NVQ in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, or
- F-Gas and ODS Regulations certification
You’ll also be:
- Reliable, hardworking and committed
