We are looking for a Food & Beverage Manager to join our team at Locke at Broken Wharf in London.

The role involves overseeing the F&B team and reporting to the General Manager, ensuring guests feel genuinely special from the moment they book to the moment they leave our F&B spaces. You need to be a natural leader, calm under pressure, with excellent organizational skills and a passion for seamless hospitality.

Responsibilities

  • Service Delivery: Meet and exceed quality objectives and KPIs. Act as the SME in your area and foster a knowledge culture in F&B. Be fully conversant with company policies, SOPs, processes, products, brands, promotions and services. Handle escalations, answer telephone, email, and resolve issues professionally. Follow bylaws and procedures to ensure smooth customer service processes. Log and manage complaints per the procedure, providing solutions within timeframes. Liaise with operations, reservations, and finance to resolve issues within agreed SLAs.
  • Operational Excellence & Guest Experience: Ensure seamless daily operations balancing efficiency with high service standards. Lead and mentor F&B Head Host & Head Chef, maintaining service culture and brand reputation. Oversee guest satisfaction, gather feedback, and implement satisfaction systems. Implement relevant cost control measures while maintaining a premium guest experience.
  • Teamwork: Understand and embody the company values. Constructively challenge, question, seek improvement, evolve, and be human. Contribute to a strong community spirit. Be objective, fair, ethical, and consistent.
  • Financial F&B Accountability: Full responsibility for the P&L for F&B, ensuring financial targets are met or exceeded. Drive cost efficiency while maintaining quality and service standards. Regularly review budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting to identify risks and opportunities. Ensure compliance with all financial, legal, and regulatory requirements.
  • People Leadership & Performance Management: Inspire, coach, and develop a high-performing team. Champion a culture of accountability, empowerment, and continuous improvement. Foster a culture of engagement, retention, and professional development.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field (desired).
  • Minimum 2 years experience in food and beverage management in a similar role.
  • Experience in the F&B industry with increasing responsibility over time.
  • Knowledge of food & beverage menu items, wine, spirits, cocktails.
  • Experience with financial management and budget controls.
  • Track record of providing exceptional customer service and building positive guest experiences.
  • Experience leading and managing teams, including training, development, and performance management.
