The Position

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Producer with a strong background in luxury fashion, beauty and lifestyle production across stills and film.

You’ll be responsible for leading projects from initial brief through to delivery, ensuring they meet the highest creative and production standards while protecting client vision, brand integrity, and confidentiality.

As a trusted partner to our clients and internal teams, you’ll bring calm, confidence, and clarity to every stage of production, from art buying world-class talent to managing on-set logistics and post-production delivery.

Alongside overseeing projects, you’ll also support the Head of Production in mentoring junior producers, contribute to new business pitches, and help reinforce Lock Studios’ reputation as a leading production partner for the world’s most recognisable brands.

Responsibilities

  • Production Ownership & Accountability
  • Sets the standard for production documentation across complex projects, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and visibility.
  • Guides and supports the team in maintaining these standards across all workstreams.
  • Operates with a high level of autonomy, acting as a senior escalation point for production, financial, and client-related risks.
  • Provides leadership to the team on complex issues and deputises for the Head of Production when required, making decisive calls that protect delivery and client relationships.
  • Leads end-to-end delivery of large-scale, multi-tier productions across film, stills, digital, and experiential activations, while maintaining oversight of smaller shoots as required.
  • Brings calm, structured leadership to high-pressure environments, balancing multiple high-value projects, tight deadlines and senior stakeholder expectations simultaneously.
  • Pre-Production & Planning
  • Directs comprehensive pre-production planning including crew, locations, permits, travel, contracts, insurance, and supplier selection to ensure full operational readiness.
  • Owns master timelines and interdependent production schedules across multiple teams, proactively resolving conflicts and capacity challenges.
  • Aligns creative, production, post-production, talent agencies and external partners to confirm scope, deliverables and dependencies ahead of shoot execution.
  • Leads high-level art buying and partner selection, curating best-in-class talent and suppliers aligned to creative ambition, brand positioning and commercial parameters.
  • Shoot Delivery & On-Set Leadership
  • Oversees shoot execution across all phases, ensuring seamless workflow, quality control, safety compliance and alignment with creative and client expectations.
  • Holds ultimate responsibility for on-set decision-making, troubleshooting complex issues proactively and safeguarding timelines, budgets and output quality.
  • Financial Management & Commercial Awareness
  • Builds, owns, and reconciles high-value, multi-layered budgets, maintaining financial transparency and profitability oversight.
  • Negotiates with agencies, suppliers and talent to secure best-in-class partners while protecting commercial margins and value delivery.
  • Applies strategic commercial judgement across resourcing, scope control and financial risk management to optimise project and margin performance.
  • Client & Stakeholder Management
  • Ensures an exceptional end-to-end client experience by proactively managing needs, feedback loops and delivery expectations across all project stages.
  • Communicates with clarity, authority and discretion across senior clients, talent and internal stakeholders in both written and verbal formats.
  • Acts as senior client lead on key accounts, building long-term partnerships, managing negotiations and owning critical project conversations and decisions.
  • Partners with the Head of Production and business leads on pitches and proposals, contributing strategic production insight, network outreach, budgeting and supplier recommendations.
  • Brings own network to the company with the ability to bring on new clients and contracts into the department.
  • Team Contribution & Leadership
  • Mentors and develops Junior and Mid Producers, fostering best practices, accountability and a positive, high-performance team culture.
  • Works in close partnership with creative, studio, operations, post-production and wider group businesses to deliver integrated, seamless client experiences.
  • Process, Compliance & Standards
  • Ensures all productions meet legal, contractual, insurance, confidentiality and health & safety requirements at every stage.
  • Maintains expert knowledge of industry rate cards (APA/BECTU), evolving production technologies, post-production workflows and emerging AI/CGI processes.

Contributes to systems & process improvements within the department.

  • Oversees the secure handling of confidential client information, celebrity assets and commercially sensitive data with strict adherence to security protocols.

Essential Skills and Requirements

  • 6+ years’ production experience, with 2+ years operating at Senior Producer level.
  • Proven leadership of large-scale, multi-tier photo and film productions for global or luxury brands.
  • Strong moving-image expertise and deep understanding of APA and BECTU guidelines.
  • Advanced budgeting, financial reporting and cost-negotiation capability.
  • Exceptional client-facing and relationship-management skills at senior stakeholder level.
  • Ability to bring new business and focus on building new client relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor teams and lead under pressure.
  • Expert organisational and multi-project management capability.
  • Good understanding of post-production timelines and top-line costing across stills, film, CGI and emerging/AI workflows.
  • Strong knowledge of contracts, compliance and production governance.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace and Excel; Blinkbid or equivalent software advantageous.
