Lock Global Recruitment is currently recruiting on behalf of our client based in Darvel for a Weaving Shed Shuttle Filler to join their production team. This is a great opportunity to join an established manufacturing business with consistent work and full training provided.

Working Hours

  • From start date until ASAP: 6:15am - 5:00pm, Monday to Thursday
  • From 30th March, the role will move to a three-shift rotation:
    • Night Shift: Sunday: 11:00pm - 6:00am; Monday - Thursday: 10:00pm - 6:00am
    • Back Shift: Monday - Thursday: 2:00pm - 10:00pm; Friday: 1:00pm - 8:00pm
    • Early Shift: Monday - Thursday: 6:00am - 2:00pm; Friday: 6:00am - 1:00pm

Pay: Minimum Wage + £2.50 per hour shift allowance

Role Responsibilities

  • Supporting the weaving department with shuttle filling duties
  • Ensuring machines are supplied with materials to maintain production
  • Assisting with general production tasks within the weaving shed
  • Maintaining a safe and tidy work environment
