Our client is currently looking to recruit an experienced Agricultural Service Engineer to join their growing service department within a well-established and ambitious company with over 40 years in the industry. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to develop their skills through ongoing internal training while working within a fast-paced and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carrying out service repairs, maintenance, and diagnostics on agricultural equipment
- Completing job cards, time sheets, and relevant documentation
- Supporting workshop organisation and maintaining tools/equipment
- Diagnosing and repairing machinery both in the workshop and on-site
- Pre-delivery setup on new and used equipment
- Supporting wider service teams and mentoring apprentices when required
Skills & Experience Required:
- Previous experience repairing and maintaining agricultural or construction equipment
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
- Ability to use diagnostic equipment and manufacturer software
- Good customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Relevant LTA/NVQ qualification or equivalent preferred
- Forklift or HGV licence advantageous but not essential
