About the Role: Lock Global are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established and highly regarded café/restaurant in Glasgow’s vibrant West End. Our client is looking for a talented and experienced Chef with a strong background in Italian cuisine to join their growing kitchen team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook high-quality Italian dishes including pasta, pizza, and classic specials
  • Maintain consistency and presentation standards across all dishes
  • Support menu development with fresh ideas and seasonal ingredients
  • Ensure compliance with food hygiene and health & safety regulations
  • Work effectively as part of a fast-paced kitchen team
  • Assist with stock control and kitchen organisation

Requirements:

  • Proven experience working as a Chef in a busy kitchen
  • Strong knowledge of Italian cuisine is essential
  • Ability to work under pressure in a high-volume environment
  • Passion for fresh food and high-quality ingredients
