Lochead Sandford Recruitment's client, a well established, most forward thinking CA Firm , based approx.10 minutes outside Glasgow city centre with your own free parking space , seeks to recruit an enthusiastic, ambitious, qualified and client focused Accountant, with minimum 3 years UK Accountancy Firm experience and good exposure to cloud IT systems such as Xero, QBOL to join their successful, busy Accounts/Business Services Team.
The main focus of this most varied role involves all aspects of year end accounts preparation to final review stage for a wide variety of clients- sole traders, partnerships and Ltd companies using a variety of accounts packages like Iris & Sage and various Cloud packages with the relevant basic tax work, vat and ad hoc management accounts preparation, more complex bookkeeping and business advisory work.Mentoring and assisting more junior members of the team.
Strong client skills, ability to meet deadlines and effective team working skills essential.
