Excellent new opportunity with a well-established, expanding and progressive medium-sized Accountancy Firm for a qualified, qualified by experience or finalist CA/ACCA with a minimum of 4/5 years experience gained working within a similar role in another UK Accountancy Firm.
You will be used to using FRS 102, able to demonstrate good client skills with a 'can do' flexible, commercial approach to your work and interaction with clients. Keen to work more as a Business advisor to clients and ambitious to further progress and learn.
Main duties:
- You will be mainly responsible for year-end preparation and some review - dependent on your level, this can be worked up to with relevant support.
- Use of FRS 102 for a varied client portfolio - mainly Ltd companies, from a wide range of sectors.
- Management accounts preparation.
- Basic tax work.
- Use of various IT accounts systems i.e. Iris, Sage and cloud packages.
- Coaching and mentoring of more junior individuals in the team.
- Key role assisting the management team.
Full study support and training to complete ACCA Exams if not already qualified.
