Lochead Sandford Recruitment’s client, a large progressive CA Firm, seeks to recruit an enthusiastic experienced accounts assistant or senior with minimum 1.5 /2 years+ current or recent accounts preparation/general practice experience gained from another UK accountancy firm. This role will either suit someone qualified by experience but not studying or indeed a part qualified individual studying through exams to join this client’s busy accounts/business services department covering a broad client role.
- Accounts preparation for sole traders, partnerships & limited companies
- Accounts preparation of management accounts (training given if required)
- Basic tax compliance and VAT returns
- Dealing with clients in the office and at client premises
- Preparation of meaningful notes on client accounts for review
- Use of IT Accounts systems such as Sage
