**50% HYBRID WORKING AVAILABLE, GOOD BENS PKGE**Our client, a highly regarded & forward thinking CA Firm seeks to recruit a highly motivated and experienced Audit Senior ( ideally 1-2 years of post-qualification experience) to join their busy team of enthusiastic professionals as Audit Senior. The role will involve working on the external audits of a wide range of clients with added variety performing significant accounts preparation. Key Responsibilities:Planning audits, taking ownership from start to finish with relevant Accounts preparation for c2/3rd of your audits working as a support to both Managers & PartnersSupervising, and reviewing work of, junior members of the team, whilst performing more technical fieldworkProviding training to students on the job, and mentoring them through their studiesPreparation of accounts from trial balance, including ensuring correct disclosure within financial statements and making all appropriate audit adjustments (70% of all audits)Drafting management letters for clients, highlighting recommendations for improvements to systems, controls and governance arrangementsActing as the Senior fieldwork team member on audit assignmentsLiaising with clients and attending client meetings, including Audit Committees and Board meetingsTaking ownership of all assignments from planning through to completionLeading on audit quality, ensuring adherence and compliance with the firm’s processes and auditing standardsSupporting sales and business developmentSupporting the annual intake of graduate traineesAny other appropriate tasks, as directedAbout youSuccessful candidates must hold appropriate professional qualifications CA/ACA/ACCA (or be qualified by experience) with significant audit experience.You will have the skills to take the lead audit senior role and you must be confident in liaising with clients across all sectors. Having an excellent understanding and proven experience in Accounts preparation & comfortable with accounting adjustments, preparation of financial statements and appropriate disclosures, appropriate awareness of ISAs and FRSs and technically up to date is essential.You will be a good multi tasker with proven organisational skills, strong client focus and an enthusiastic, confident approach to work.
