An exciting new role has arisen with our client, a good sized, forward-thinking and expanding Accountancy Firm based in Lanarkshire who have more than doubled fee income in recent years. This role is full time - 35 hours over 5 days, based more in office though some hybrid may be considered.

Our client offers the opportunity to work on a varied client portfolio of SMEs, some groups with turnover to approximately £50 million, from a variety of sectors including some charities. You will lead and manage the audits and small audit team for larger clients and take sole responsibility for some smaller clients.

As part of the key management team, reporting to the Partner, you will manage and mentor your team, ensuring budgets and timescales are met, keeping clients up to date, and adhering to all compliance. You will also have the opportunity to be involved in various year-end accounts preparation, though the focus of this role will be on audit as this team continues to grow with new client wins.

This role will suit an ambitious CA/ACCA qualified individual, as there are real prospects to develop upwards even to Partner/Director level. The ideal candidate will have good client focus, a flexible 'can do' approach, strong team working and organisational skills, and the desire to work closely with clients.
