An excellent new opportunity has arisen for a qualified CA/ACCA or qualified by experience individual with current or recent UK Accountancy Practice Firm background, to join our well regarded and long established CA Firm client as a Client Accountant.
This varied role focuses mainly on all aspects of year end accounts preparation for a wide range of clients including some charities, using mainly FRS 102 and Iris accounts. You will also be involved in some basic tax work - returns for personal and corporate clients, ad hoc management accounts, business advisory work with strong daily client liaison, offering a really broad general practice role acting as an overall business advisor to clients.
You will report directly to Managers and/or Partners, depending on your own level, and will be able to demonstrate good client and organisational skills and good technical knowledge and experience using various accounts packages - Microsoft with ideally some cloud packages such as Xero, Freeagent or QBOL, though specific IT package training will be given.
Current UK Year end accounts preparation experience from another UK Accountancy firm is essential; however, if a good candidate has not been exposed to any tax matters, training will be provided on this assuming they are happy and keen to learn this and perform a broader role.
