Our client, a highly regarded and expanding Top 20 Accountancy firm with several UK offices and proud member of a renowned International network, seeks to recruit a suitably qualified and experienced Personal Tax AssistantManager to join their Edinburgh team.

Main duties:

  • Manage portfolio of clients, meeting their requirements and maximising fee income.
  • Manage the production of clients personal tax computations.
  • Plan, control, and review work carried out be team members to ensure work is completed within time frames and budget.
  • Respond to tax queries from Partners/Directors/Managers.
  • Carry out consultancy work when required.
  • Attend client meetings where appropriate.
  • Design and implement standard letters/systems to improve the efficiency of the Tax Department.
  • Spot opportunities for relevant advisory work with existing clients.

  • ICAS, ACA or CTA qualified with Tax experience in practice
  • Varied, practical and technical tax knowledge.
