An exciting new role has arisen with one of our highly regarded, long established CA Firms to join their expanding, successful team as a 'hands on' Audit & Accounts Client Manager, based in Glasgow. This very broad role will suit a qualified CA/ACCA with several years general practice PQE from another UK Practice Firm and some current or recent UK audit experience, keen to work with a diverse range of clients, and in a collaborative, friendly environment, performing a broad audit/general practice-accounts/tax role.

As a key member of the team you will have the opportunity to work with a wide and varying client portfolio, mentoring more junior individuals covering all aspects of audit, accounts preparation/review and basic tax. This role will be approx 2/3rd of your time focused on general accounts/tax, with a 1/3rd on audit though this will likely develop to less hands on audit to more audit review.

Ideal person:

  • Enthusiastic Qualified CA/ACCA with several years post qualifying experience with a broad, stable UK Accountancy Practice Firm background covering some audit, all aspects of accounts preparation and basic tax.
  • Keen to work closely with clients as an all round advisor
  • Team player with strong client and interpersonal skills
