Job Description **EXCITING NEW PAYROLL OPPORTUNITY**
OUR CLIENT- A HIGHLY REGARDED ACCOUNTANCY FIRM SEEKS TO RECRUIT AN EXPERIENCED PAYROLL SPECIALIST TO JOIN THEIR GROWING AND SUCCESSFUL TEAM.
YOU WILL BE ABLE TO DEMONSTRATE BROAD UK PAYROLL EXPERIENCE- END TO END, IDEALLY GAINED FROM ANOTHER UK ACCOUNTANCY FIRM OR PAYROLL PROVIDER.
Strong team working, organisational and client skills essential.
Manage client payrolls using Sage Payroll and Xero Payroll.
Be responsible for compliance with payroll regulations, ensuring accuracy and timely submission of statutory returns.
Build strong client relationships by providing clear, professional support on payroll matters.
Key Responsibilities
Payroll
Processing: Accurately process weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payrolls for multiple clients.
Maintain payroll schedules and manage client-specific requirements.
Compliance & reporting: Submit RTI (Real-Time Information) reports to HMRC.
Handle year-end payroll tasks, including P60s, P45s, and P11Ds.
Manage pension auto-enrolment, including assessments and submissions to providers.
Client Support and
Communication: Act as the first point of contact for client payroll queries.
Advise clients on changes in payroll legislation and statutory requirements.
Maintain and update payroll records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GDPR.
Process new starters, leavers, and employee data changes.
Contribute ideas to enhance payroll systems and processes.
Stay updated on payroll legislation and industry trends.
