The Position: We are currently seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our team as seasonal bar staff, on a full-time basis. As a vital part of our hospitality team, you will play a key role in providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring they have a memorable time at Plockton Inn. The season runs to the end of October; however, there may be an opportunity to extend based on business demand.
In this guest-facing role you will be responsible for:
- Taking orders and delivering beverages
- Liaising with the F&B team to ensure guests receive a high level of service
- Setting up the bar area before service
- Maintaining high levels of cleanliness in and around the bar area
- Stock management and ordering
This role offers flexible shift patterns covering lunch and dinner service. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are passionate about hospitality and eager to work in a dynamic and vibrant environment.
The Person: Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided. You should display effective communication with guests as well as your team to ensure a high level of guest service. You must have the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, remaining calm under pressure, and possess strong communication skills with a team-oriented mindset. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required is essential, along with a passion and knowledge for current drink trends.
The Package: Real Living Wage hourly rate of £13.45 per hour + service charge + company benefits including:
