Welcome to a Unique Highland Opportunity. Situated on the shores of Loch Rannoch, in one of Scotland’s most beautiful and unspoilt Highland locations, Loch Rannoch Highland Club offers a distinctive lodge ownership experience in a truly special setting. The Club is wholly owned by its Members, with no external shareholders or outside influence. It is managed on a day-to-day basis by an experienced General Manager and overseen by a Board comprised entirely of Members, many of whom bring significant business experience and all of whom are passionate about the long-term success of the Club and the quality of the experience we provide. We are a friendly, hardworking and committed team, focused on delivering the best possible stays for our Members and guests. We are not a high-pressure sales environment — we believe in presenting a genuine, high-quality product and allowing it to speak for itself. If that approach resonates with you, we would be delighted to hear from you.

The Role

As Sales & Marketing Executive, you will play a key role in driving new lodge ownership sales and expanding the Club’s reach. This is a proactive, outward-facing role, combining sales delivery with lead generation and marketing activity. The role will be primarily based at Loch Rannoch Highland Club to ensure a deep understanding of the site, the lodges and the ownership experience. At the same time, you will be expected to actively promote the Club externally, identifying and developing new opportunities across the UK.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a sales and marketing approach to generate new lodge ownership enquiries
  • Conduct lodge viewings, appointments and presentations with prospective Members
  • Convert enquiries into completed sales in a professional and consultative manner
  • Proactively generate leads through partnerships, networking, outreach and events
  • Attend trade shows, exhibitions and external sales opportunities
  • Build relationships with local businesses, employers and tourism partners
  • Engage with renters and visitors on site who may be interested in ownership
  • Promote the Club through digital channels, social media opportunities and website enquiries
  • Explore new and creative ways to reach potential Members across a wider geographic market
  • Work closely with the General Manager to review performance, develop ideas and refine the approach on an ongoing basis
  • Maintain accurate records of enquiries, follow-ups and sales activity

Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for someone who is motivated, personable and commercially aware. We do not have a “typical” candidate, but we are particularly interested in individuals who:

  • Want to achieve strong results and take ownership of their performance
  • Are naturally engaging and able to build trust quickly
  • Prefer a consultative, relationship-based sales approach rather than a hard sell
  • Are proactive in generating opportunities rather than relying solely on inbound enquiries
  • Are resilient, self-motivated and comfortable working independently
  • Will represent the Club’s values and ethos with professionalism

Experience & Requirements

  • Proven sales experience, ideally in hospitality, leisure, holiday ownership, property or a similar environment
  • Experience in generating leads as well as converting them into sales
  • Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills
  • Good understanding of digital marketing and lead generation channels
  • Ability to manage multiple opportunities and follow-ups effectively
  • Willingness to travel and attend events where required
  • Ability to be based primarily on site in a rural Highland location
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle

What’s In It For You

  • Competitive base salary
  • Uncapped commission directly linked to performance
  • Opportunity to shape and develop the Club’s sales and marketing approach
  • A unique working environment in one of Scotland’s most beautiful locations
  • Free on-site parking
  • Pension scheme
  • Staff-related benefits and local partnerships where applicable

You will also have the opportunity to experience and promote the wider Highland offering, including local leisure, outdoor activities and partner facilities, forming a key part of how the Club is presented to prospective Members.

Why This Role Matters

This is a key role for the future of the Club. We are looking to reach new audiences, expand our Member base and build long-term sustainability. Success in this role will have a direct and meaningful impact on the Club’s future.

Application

To apply, please send your CV along with a short covering note outlining your relevant experience and why this opportunity appeals to you. We are keen to move quickly and will review applications as they are received.
