Loch Morlich Watersports is recruiting Seasonal Watersports Instructors to join its team for the 2026 season, based in the heart of the Cairngorms National Park. This role suits enthusiastic, qualified instructors who enjoy working outdoors and want a seasonal position in one of Scotland’s most scenic locations.

The role

  • You will deliver a range of watersports and outdoor activities to individuals and groups.
  • Activities may include kayaking, paddleboarding, sailing, windsurfing, canoeing, and mountain biking.
  • You will support safe, enjoyable sessions for participants of varying abilities.
  • You will work as part of a friendly, family run team, contributing to the smooth running of the centre throughout the season.
  • You will uphold high standards of safety, instruction, and customer care at all times.

Working pattern

  • This is a seasonal role running from April to October.
  • Hours will reflect operational demand and weather conditions.
  • The role is based at Loch Morlich within the Cairngorms National Park.

What we are looking for

  • Hold at least two relevant qualifications across paddlesport, sailing, windsurfing, powerboating, or mountain biking. Additional outdoor or instructional qualifications welcomed.
  • A positive, professional approach to working with the public.
  • Confidence working outdoors and adapting to changing conditions.
