We are currently seeking an experienced and hands-on Food and Beverage Manager to lead our busy F&B operation and continue building on our reputation for quality, service, and provenance.

As Food and Beverage Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our food and beverage service from breakfast through to evening dining, bar service, and private events. You’ll manage a passionate team, drive excellent service standards, and work closely with the General Manager, Head Chef and senior management team to ensure smooth, profitable operations.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily F&B operations including restaurant, bar, and events
  • Ensure consistently high standards of customer service and presentation
  • Lead and support front-of-house staff to deliver warm, attentive hospitality
  • Train F&B staff in all aspects of service and standards
  • Oversee stock control and ordering
  • Drive revenue through upselling, local engagement, and effective cost control
  • Ensure all food safety, hygiene, and licensing regulations are adhered to
  • Act as a visible presence on the floor, especially during peak service times

About You

  • Previous experience in a management role within a busy restaurant, hotel, or gastro pub is essential.
  • Strong leadership skills and a hands-on approach
  • Passion for quality food, drink, and guest experience
  • Knowledge of Scottish produce and seasonal cooking trends is a bonus
  • Financial acumen – experience with budgets, stock control, and cost management
  • Calm under pressure and confident in a fast-paced service environment
  • Excellent communication and people skills
