Are you passionate about fresh ingredients, coastal flavours, and delivering exceptional dishes with consistency and flair? We are looking for a talented Sous Chef to join our Kitchen Team, working closely with our Head Chef to deliver unique dining experiences in a well organised and supportive environment.
Position: Sous Chef
Rate of Pay: £16.50 - £17.00 per hour, dependent on experience. Plus customer tips - averaging approx £2.00 per hour. Tips are shared between the Restaurant Team.
Contract Type: Permanent
Contract Hours: Full time hours (40 hours) - No late evenings - No split shifts - No night shifts. Work Shifts: Between Monday to Sunday.
Other Info: Due to our location and the work shifts, your own transport would be beneficial.

What You'll Be Doing As Sous Chef:
- Supporting the Head Chef in menu preparation, daily kitchen operations and service.
- Cooking and presenting fresh, local fish and seafood dishes.
- Leading and motivating the Kitchen Team in the Head Chef's absence.
- Ensuring excellent food quality, presentation and consistency.
- Maintaining food safety, hygiene, and health and safety standards.
- Assisting with stock control, ordering and waste management.
- Contributing to menu development with a focus on seasonality and provenance.
- Supporting your team and contributing to a positive kitchen culture.
The Sous Chef We Are Looking For:
- A skilled and experienced Sous Chef (or strong Junior Sous Chef).
- Confident and passionate about working with fish and seafood.
- Calm under pressure with great organisational skills.
- A positive leader who values teamwork and consistency.
- Committed to food safety and kitchen best practices.
