Join Loch Duart, a premium salmon producer with a reputation for sustainability, innovation, and excellence. We are currently looking for a motivated and experienced Processing Supervisor to join our dedicated team at our Dingwall Processing Facility.
About the Role:
As Processing Supervisor, you'll play a vital role in the day-to-day running of our production operations. Reporting to the Processing Manager/Assistant Manager, you'll lead a team to deliver high-quality output, maintain safety standards, and meet production targets. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Salary: £36k starting salary with an increase to £38k after completion of probation period
Shift: Monday to Friday, 18.00 start time / finish time variable. 40 hours week with some degree of flexibility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate daily processing activities to meet production schedules.
- Monitor team performance and provide clear, actionable feedback.
- Conduct regular quality inspections and ensure compliance with company standards.
- Train and mentor team members to develop skills and ensure operational coverage.
- Address production or quality issues quickly and effectively.
- Promote a safe working environment and ensure adherence to health & safety procedures.
- Complete all relevant quality paperwork accurately and on time.
- Input customer orders into the processing system and ensure timely delivery.
- Manage environmental swabbing samples and data uploads to the lab portal.
