As a HR Advisor you\’ll be responsible for providing high-quality and expert HR advice to support our clients.
Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day tailored, professional and timely HR advice and operational support across all areas of the employee lifecycle. This includes recruitment, onboarding, induction, development, retention and off-boarding
- Provide operational support across a wide range of employee relations (ER) matters, including disciplinaries, grievances, absence, and performance management
- Support the implementation of HR policies, procedures and documentation tailored to each client’s needs
- Support the HR Director, and HR Consultants to manage our clients allocated hours on a quarterly basis, ensuring retainer work is accurately recorded and any additional ad hoc work is billed promptly
- Deliver HR solutions that are compliant with employment law and aligned to best practice, while being tailored to each client’s commercial context
- Build and maintain strong client relationships by acting as a trusted partner and delivering work efficiently and professionally
- Escalate complex cases to HR Consultants, Senior HR Consultants or the HR Director where appropriate, working collaboratively to achieve the best outcomes for clients
- Identify opportunities to add value to clients and support business growth through proactive interactions and cross-selling where appropriate
- Maintain accurate records and documentation to ensure transparency, compliance, and efficient service delivery
- Record all advice and communications accurately on our internal case management system (LEAP)
- Maintain up to date knowledge of employment law and best practice to ensure accurate and compliant advice
- Contribute to the overall success of the Loch HR Team by sharing knowledge, supporting colleagues, and upholding Loch HR’s vision, values, and culture in all interactions
- Contribute to internal HR projects and support the development of templates, toolkits and training materials as required
- Support the development and management of workflow of the HR Administrators
What We’re Looking For
- Ideally you would be CIPD Qualified with experience of working in a hands-on operational HR capacity currently at Advisor level
- A proactive attitude, with the ability to build and develop strong, lasting relationships with stakeholders
