About the role

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Counsellor to join our team within the Community Wellbeing Service on the beautiful Isle of Man.

In this role, you will provide island-wide counselling services to clients aged sixteen and older, managing caseloads, assessing, planning, and delivering timely and appropriate therapeutic treatment for complex cases.

As part of our large multi-disciplinary team, you will act as the first point of contact, assessing clients as they present. Your responsibilities will include assessing and managing clinical risk and clinical need, making onward referrals to other services, and maintaining accurate client records. Additionally, you will provide expert advice, information, and training to other health professionals, and actively promote mental health awareness through your work as a Counsellor and Clinical Supervisor.

This position is based across two localities: Ramsey and Douglas.

✔ Accommodation is available for the first 6 months in your role at a reduced rate for non-Island residents.

✔ A relocation package of up to £7,000 based on receipts is available for this role. Housing Assistance is also available where the Department will pay the difference between your current mortgage/rent bill, and that of your new accommodation on the Isle of Man, up to a maximum of £250 per month.
