About the role

The Housing section of the Department of Infrastructure is seeking a proactive and well-organised Business Support Officer to join our team. This role is pivotal in driving improvements and fostering relationships with stakeholders, and impacting the lives of people in our community through changes in housing policy and strategy.

In this role, you will assist the Head of Housing in delivering the joint work programme with the Housing and Communities Board and embedding this work into the financial and performance elements of public sector housing management. You will provide administrative support to the change agenda, including research, data analysis, compiling statistics, and acting as a key contact for the Island’s housing providers. You will also play an integral part in advancing key policy initiatives, helping to ensure the Department meets its commitments under the Island Plan. Your ability to work under pressure, priorities workloads, and adapt to changing environments will be key to your success.
