About the role and our team

We are looking to recruit an Air Traffic Services Assistant to join our dedicated and professional team at Isle of Man Airport.
After initial familiarisation and induction you will undertake on-the-job training in the role. This may include a 1-week training course in the Gloucestershire at a specialist training provider, depending on your background and experience.
Once fully trained you will assist our Air Traffic Controllers providing safe and efficient Air Traffic Control services at the Isle of Man Airport including Aerodrome, Approach and Approach Surveillance within Isle of Man Class D airspace as well as services to aircraft in surrounding Class G airspace.
As part of this role you will work a shift pattern including early mornings, late evenings, weekend and bank holidays in accordance with published rosters.
Eligibility
To qualify for this role, you must:
- Meet the fitness requirements determined by Occupational Health.
- Hold a full, valid driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
- Receive a satisfactory police check.
