About the role
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Respiratory Specialist Service as a Band 6 Respiratory Nurse. As part of the multi-disciplinary team, you will assist in providing specialist advice, care and support for patients, their families and carers, in both hospital and community settings. This will include participation in admission avoidance, early and supported discharge, specialist outpatient clinics and pulmonary rehabilitation.
This is a key position within the Respiratory Nursing Service, assisting the team in delivering comprehensive service provision across organisational boundaries. The main aim is to ensure quality, patient-focused management of patients with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), Asthma, bronchiectasis and Idiopathic Lung Disease (ILD).
