Role Overview
We are looking for an exceptional Head of Marketing to lead and elevate our marketing function. This is a pivotal role for a strategic and hands-on leader who can shape our brand narrative, expand our market presence, and deliver a best-in-class customer acquisition and retention strategy. Reporting to the CEO, you will be responsible for defining, developing, and executing our marketing strategy from the ground up, building a high-performing team, and ensuring our marketing efforts directly contribute to our ambitious growth targets.
The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a proven track record of scaling B2B and B2C SaaS businesses. You are a data-driven marketer who understands the nuances of digital marketing, content creation, brand building, and performance marketing. You will be comfortable working in a fast-paced, agile environment, and possess the leadership skills to inspire and mentor a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy that aligns with Locate a Locum\’s business goals and vision for both B2B (healthcare providers) and B2C (locum professionals) segments.
- Lead, mentor, and grow the marketing team, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Manage the marketing budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to drive maximum ROI.
- Collaborate with the leadership team to define product and market positioning, brand messaging, and go-to-market strategies.
Performance Marketing & Growth

What You\’ll Bring
- Experience: 5+ years of progressive marketing experience, with at least 2 years in a senior leadership role, within a SaaS technology business or within software business growth.
- Expertise: Deep understanding of full-funnel marketing, from brand awareness and demand generation to customer retention. Proven success in B2B and B2C marketing strategies.
- Leadership: A natural leader with the ability to inspire, motivate, and demonstable experience of building and/or performing within a marketing team structure.
- Data-Driven Mindset: Highly analytical with a strong grasp of marketing analytics, metrics, and reporting. Proficient with marketing automation tools (e.g., HubSpot CRM systems, and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics).
