- £14.00 per hour | Up to £34,000 per year + overtime
Full-time / Part-time | Permanent - URGENT RECRUITMENT
This role is predominately for night shifts, but will require you to be flexible to meet the needs of the service.
We are looking for female Support Workers / Care Assistants to join our dedicated team in
Ipswich .
You will provide person-centred support to an individual in supported living, helping them maintain independence, dignity, choice and wellbeing.
Due to the specific needs of the person we support, this role is open to female applicants only.
Essential Requirement A full UK manual driving licence is essential, as the role involves driving a mobility vehicle and supporting community access.
Your Role You will support with
- Personal care, including washing, bathing and toileting
- Cooking, cleaning, shopping and daily living tasks
- Medication administration
- Community activities, appointments and social inclusion
- Developing independence and life skills
- Following care plans, risk assessments and safeguarding procedures
- Positive Behaviour Support (PBS)
- Recording and reporting progress, incidents and behaviours
- Working as part of a supportive care team
What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is
- Caring, reliable and compassionate
- Experienced in care/support work, or willing to learn
- Comfortable providing personal care
- Knowledgeable about or willing to learn PBS
- Understanding of autism, learning disabilities, mental health and safeguarding
- Flexible to work days, nights, weekends and bank holidays
- A full UK manual driving licence holder
Full training is provided, including mandatory care training and PBS.
