Night Support Worker

- Pay: £14.00 per hour
- Potential Earnings: Up to £34,000 per year with overtime
- Hours: Full-time, Permanent

We're looking for caring, reliable, and compassionate Night Support Workers to join our team in Ipswich. If you're passionate about helping people live independently and enjoy making a positive impact in someone's life, we'd love to hear from you.
As a Night Support Worker, you'll provide person‑centred support to individuals in a supported living environment, helping them feel safe, valued, and empowered while promoting dignity, choice, and independence.
What You'll Be Doing
- Providing personal care, including support with washing, bathing, and toileting
- Assisting with daily living tasks such as cooking, cleaning, and shopping
- Supporting individuals with medication administration
- Encouraging independence and helping people develop life skills
- Supporting access to appointments, social activities, and community opportunities
- Following care plans, risk assessments, and safeguarding procedures
- Completing accurate records, incident reports, and daily notes
- Working closely with colleagues during handovers and team meetings
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience as a Support Worker, Care Assistant, or in a similar care role
- Knowledge of Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) is desirable
- Understanding of autism, learning disabilities, mental health, and safeguarding
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A positive, proactive, and compassionate approach
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and bank holidays as required
- Commitment to maintaining professional boundaries and confidentiality
A full UK driving licence is required for roles involving mobility vehicles.
