The ideal candidate will possess strong project management skills, and a proven track record of AI solution implementations that include NMT, LLM, ASR and TMS evaluations.
YOUR DAILY IMPACT AT PELOTON
- Manage the full localisation lifecycle for multiple concurrent projects. Independently prioritise tasks, mitigate risks, and track key metrics (quality, cost, turnaround time) to ensure 'right-first-time' delivery to Members.
- Design and implement evaluation methodologies for AI-generated captions and subtitles (ASR, NMT, LLMs). Analyse performance using metrics like BLEU, TER, and COMET, run A/B testing, and partner with AI/ML and Engineering teams to drive model improvements.
- Recruit, train, and manage high-performing freelance linguists, and internal coordinators. Oversee translation technology partners and vendors, optimising workflows and switching service providers when necessary to ensure peak operational health.
- Create and maintain linguistic assets, including glossaries, style guides, and playbooks. Monitor Member support channels to swiftly resolve captioning or subtitling issues.
- Build strong relationships with internal cross-functional teams. Provide localisation expertise, communicate operational updates clearly, and deliver data-driven insights for continuous strategic improvement.

- Strong hands-on experience leading the evaluation of language AI technologies (MT, LLM, ASR, TMS) and proficiency with deploying Translation Management Systems (e.g., Smartling, Smartcat) from RFP and appraisal to customisation and migration.
