About the Role
Due to increased demand for localized content, Pixelogic is looking for experienced English‑into‑Romanian subtitling translators to establish a professional, high‑performing collaboration as part of our language services department with the end goal of servicing our clients’ end‑to‑end projects. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, possess a flexible attitude, and adapt quickly in a fast‑paced environment. They must be able to work as part of a team that deals with changing priorities and workloads. Time flexibility is of paramount importance due to the sensitive nature of the delivery schedule.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for all aspects of subtitle file creation, depending on assignment, whether Conforming, Translating or Proofreading/Quality controlling of subtitle files using Pixelogic proprietary cloud‑based subtitling software.
- Leverage in‑house glossary tool for consistency across products and follow client style guide specifications.
- Handle rejections and make corrections in files.
- Remain current with industry trends and adapt to evolving client requirements.
- Maintain the confidentiality of sensitive content.
Requirements
- Romanian and English bilingual. Knowledge of other languages is an asset.
- Minimum of 2 years of subtitling translation and/or proofreading experience required.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Must have demonstrated ability to accomplish work on a rigorous schedule (on‑time delivery and flexible working hours).
- Ability to follow technical/style guide for multiple client content types.
