Job Description
Language Services is Avaloq's in-house team responsible for translation, software localization, and language review, comprising dedicated and passionate linguists. As an Arabic-language financial translator and localization specialist, your responsibilities include translating English user interfaces of Avaloq products and collaborating with development and design teams on localization challenges. A strong understanding of banking and finance, along with experience in software translation for the Arabic market, is essential.
Your key tasks:
- Translate English user interface text of banking applications into Arabic, ensuring accuracy and user-friendliness.
- Develop a glossary for consistent Arabic terminology in software applications.
- Collaborate with cross-divisional teams to address localization issues.
- Provide guidance on Arabic language queries.
Qualifications:
- Native-level proficiency in Arabic.
- Proven experience in translating banking and financial content.
- Experience in software localization, especially for RTL languages.
- Degree in Translation or equivalent qualification.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and reliable.
Additional assets:
- Experience with Phrase Strings localization platform.
- Interest in UX writing and software development.
