Get to know the role Job Title: Bilingual Project Manager – Events Job Summary: Support the Premier Events department by communicating and negotiating with partners in Asia, providing on-site support, interpretation, and translation services at events. Understand relationships between TPCi and partners to facilitate clear cross-cultural communication. Translate emails, documents, pitch decks, and reports. Interpret during business meetings involving specialized terminology. Provide on-site support and translation during events or manage vendors. Review and localize gaming tournament guidelines and rules. Assist in compiling post-event reports. Coordinate with internal departments to address partner inquiries. Negotiate and execute contracts with talents and speakers. Develop a deep understanding of Pokémon games and communities. What you\’ll bring At least 5 years of professional translation and interpretation experience between Japanese and English. Bachelor\’s degree required. 2+ years in event, entertainment, gaming, or esports industry preferred. Experience in talent and/or executive management. High-level negotiation skills in Japanese and English. Ability to navigate complex cross-cultural communications. Understanding of Japanese business culture and manners. Fluency in Japanese and English, including honorific speech. Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects. Team player with collaborative skills. Quick learner of new tools and processes. Base Salary Range Starting between $105,000 – $124,450 annually, with a full range of $105,000 – $157,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
