Wellspring Settlement is a charity working alongside residents of Barton Hill in East Bristol to celebrate and strengthen the local community, improve wellbeing, and create opportunities for residents to thrive. At Wellspring Settlement, you’ll be part of something bigger than a job. The organisation was created in 2020, from two organisations: Wellspring Healthy Living Centre and Barton Hill Settlement and continues the legacy of both. We offer a varied working environment where no two days are ever the same! We work closely with the local community, and many of our spaces are open-access. Whatever your role, you’ll have the opportunity to connect with local people and contribute to our programme of events and activities.
About the Role
The Buildings and Facilities Manager plays a key role in Wellspring Settlement, a community anchor organisation for Barton Hill. The role is responsible for making sure our buildings are safe, secure, welcoming and well managed so that they can serve the community of Barton Hill, our tenants and room hirers effectively and Wellspring Settlement can achieve maximum impact. As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, you will oversee facilities, operations, health and safety, and building compliance while leading teams responsible for maintenance, site security, reception, cleaning and room bookings. Working collaboratively with other members of the team you will support the overall goals of the organisation being fulfilled.
