Systems Integration Engineer in Marlow

Localised is local-first ecommerce. We have reimagined how brands and shoppers transact across borders, languages, currencies and cultures. With our own all-inclusive global ecommerce platform, we rapidly design, build, operate, optimize and market highly localised country-specific ecommerce sites in foreign markets for coveted brands. We help brands go global by being local. We are based in Toronto and London, and we are what brands expanding globally do next. We are only looking for candidates who are able and willing to work in our Marlow, UK office.

This role involves working with both external clients and internal teams across various locations. You will be responsible for all client and vendor onboarding, ensuring all functional and non-functional requirements of the business are met. You will work with many parts of our global e-commerce platform's systems, including product catalogues, order provisioning, and third-party vendor systems such as payment services, tax calculators, and CRM systems.

More specifically, your responsibilities will include:

• Collaborate with developers and integration specialists to manage and optimise multi-tenant, cross-border e-commerce platforms, ensuring seamless integration across multilingual, multi-site, and multi-currency systems.
• Engage directly with clients to understand and integrate their back-office system requirements into our platform.
• Develop use cases, technical research, and customer feedback into programme / technical requirements for execution by the engineering teams.
• Coordinate with Product Owners, Engineering, and QA teams to clarify and implement product requirements.
• Lead client and vendor integration projects from scoping and requirements gathering through to delivery.
• Write and maintain clear and concise documentation of all integrations.
• Perform root cause analysis and design solutions for complex problems.
• Lead integration requirements capture sessions with business and customer stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive reports and dashboards to support integration performance for senior management.
• Support the pre-sales process by identifying essential integration requirements and maintaining existing integrations.

We would love to hear from you if:

• You have a minimum of 5 years of experience managing e-commerce platforms or related fields.
• You have strong experience with API integrations, particularly in e-commerce environments like Shopify, Magento and enterprise platforms such as SAP, Oracle and Sterling.
• You have excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
• You have robust analytical skills and proven problem-solving abilities.
• You have experience with ecommerce integration with ERP, OMS & PIM systems.
• You are familiar with Agile methodologies and capable of meeting release cadence milestones.
• You have experience across a range of integration approaches including streaming, EDI, API, JSON, XML, and flat file integration.
• You are familiar with AWS and analytical tools, and have strong SQL skills.
• You have exceptional written communication skills for technical user story development.
