As part of the digital sales team, you’ll be at the heart of that mission, working closely with SMEs to elevate their online presence and connect with the audiences that matter most.

Job Purpose & Main Objectives

As a Business Development Manager at LOCALiQ, you will play a pivotal role within our Marketing Sales team, representing our diverse product portfolio across a defined territory. Your primary focus will be driving revenue growth through strategic B2B sales, territory management, and long‑term relationship building. You’ll be responsible for identifying client needs and delivering award‑winning marketing solutions that are tailored, data‑driven, and results‑focused. Using effective questioning techniques, thorough research, and deep insight into each client’s industry, you’ll craft proposals that resonate and deliver measurable impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Development
    • Maximise revenue spend across your territory and develop “series” revenues through self‑generated appointments using:
      • Lapsed customer reports
      • Case studies
      • New business development
      • Self‑generated leads
  • Build Customer Relationships
    • Establish and maintain a high standard of customer service.
    • Build robust, trust‑based relationships that encourage long‑term partnerships.
    • Influence local businesses by leveraging our products to deliver long term marketing strategies.
    • Support Sales Managers and Directors with revenue opportunities aligned to the Centre’s strategy.
    • Lead end to end sales process from prospecting to sale.
    • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform strategy.
  • Establish LOCALiQ as a Solution Provider
    • Plan, create, and deliver compelling direct sales presentations.
    • Lead by example in developing creative, digitally led campaigns that serve as best‑in‑class examples.
    • Acquire strong knowledge of LOCALiQ’s full suite of digital marketing solutions.
  • Meet & Exceed
    • Achieve and exceed monthly revenue targets.
    • Ensure every sales opportunity is maximised.
    • Maintain motivation and focus under pressure.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Demonstrated success in B2B sales, preferably within digital marketing or media environments.
  • Strong territory and account management capabilities, with a strategic and commercially astute mindset.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders.
  • A passion for cultivating client relationships and consistently delivering value.
  • Highly self‑motivated and proactive in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.

A full UK driver’s licence and access to a vehicle are required for this vacancy.
