We’re looking for a Marketing Success Manager to join our team, based in York, supporting businesses across Yorkshire and Darlington. This role is ideal for a digitally savvy marketeer who enjoys being close to campaign performance, client conversations, and making a real impact on results. Working closely with our Digital Sales teams, you’ll act as a strategic partner on high‑value digital campaigns across display and social channels. You’ll help shape campaign strategy, optimise performance, and clearly demonstrate value to clients — whether that’s face to face or via Teams. This is a customer‑facing role, so confidence in presenting insights and recommending next steps is key. York‑based, with travel across the region, including Bradford and Darlington, to attend meetings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with Digital Sales to understand client objectives and translate them into measurable digital marketing strategies.
  • Plan, manage and optimise campaigns across display and paid social, including full‑funnel activity such as prospecting, retargeting and conversion.
  • Monitor campaign performance against key KPIs (CTR, conversions, ROAS, viewability) and make ongoing optimisations to maximise results.
  • Run campaign analysis and build clear, commercially‑focused reports that show impact and return on investment.
  • Present results in a confident, non‑technical way, offering insight, recommendations and opportunities for deeper investment.
  • Build and manage audiences, including custom and lookalike audiences, to improve targeting and reach.
  • Work hands‑on with analytics tools and tracking, collaborating with internal teams where needed to resolve issues.
  • Identify at‑risk accounts early and recommend actions to improve performance and retention.
  • Share campaign wins, insights and best practice across the wider team and contribute to knowledge‑sharing sessions.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Experience working as a digital marketeer, ideally within an agency or similar fast‑paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing and performance campaigns, particularly display and paid social.
  • Confident using analytics and advertising platforms, with the ability to interpret data and spot trends.
  • Highly analytical, with the ability to turn insight into clear, practical recommendations.
  • Comfortable being customer‑facing, leading face‑to‑face and virtual meetings with confidence.
  • Imaginative and creative when it comes to campaign ideas, messaging and creative approaches.
  • Strong communication skills, able to explain results simply to non‑technical audiences.
  • Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple campaigns at once.
  • Based in or near York, with flexibility to travel across Yorkshire and Darlington.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary
  • Quarterly Bonus
  • 25 days holiday + bank holidays + your birthday off
  • Holiday buy scheme for extra flexibility
  • Structured career progression & ongoing training
  • Pension plan
  • Employee Helpline counselling and advice
  • Perks & discounts including: Gym membership, Cycle to Work scheme, Eye care, Retail discounts
  • Team building days & annual volunteer charity day
