LOCALiQ, part of Newsquest Media Group, is passionate about helping local businesses grow through smart, data‑driven digital marketing. As part of our digital sales team supporting the Warrington Guardian, you’ll be right at the heart of that mission, working closely with SMEs across the wider Cheshire region to strengthen their online presence and connect with the audiences that matter most.
This is a hybrid role, combining remote working with regular face‑to‑face client meetings across your territory. While you’ll spend a significant amount of time out meeting customers, you’ll also be expected to work from our Warrington office to review progress, collaborate with colleagues, and support your ongoing development, earning potential and career progression.
In this role, you’ll build trusted relationships with local businesses, uncover commercial challenges, and recommend tailored solutions from our portfolio of digital products, including paid social, digital display, video and website solutions. If you thrive in a consultative, customer‑focused sales environment and are passionate about delivering real impact for the local business community, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward‑thinking and supportive team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive business‑to‑business sales through a mix of telephone, video and face‑to‑face meetings with prospective clients across the wider Cheshire region.
- Deliver a consultative sales approach, identifying customer needs through effective questioning and discovery before recommending the most suitable digitally led solutions.
- Conduct thorough research into each client’s business or industry, ensuring proposals are relevant, tailored and commercially impactful.
- Maximise marketing spend within your territory by continually sourcing new and lapsed business opportunities.
