Business Development Consultant – Mid Wales (Field-based, Mid Wales Region). Full UK Driving Licence & Access to Vehicle Required. Location: Welshpool. Salary: £30,000 – £32,000 per year. Application Deadline: 29 October 2025. Department: Sales and Commercial.

Description

We’re looking for a motivated and driven Business Development Consultant to join our LOCALiQ team, helping businesses across Mid Wales grow through our digitally-led marketing solutions. You’ll be representing LOCALiQ’s cutting-edge digital products, supported by a portfolio of trusted local news brands, including The County Times, to deliver real results for clients.

Responsibilities

  • Selling LOCALiQ’s digital marketing services and print advertising solutions across the Mid Wales region.
  • Taking a consultative approach to sales, understanding client needs and offering tailored solutions.
  • Managing your own territory and pipeline, identifying and converting new prospects.
  • Maintaining and growing a portfolio of key accounts with excellent service and measurable results.
  • Using a mix of video calls, phone outreach, and face-to-face meetings to build relationships and close deals.
