The Strad is a world-leading classical music magazine for string players, with a respected international reputation and a passionate global audience. Published by Newsquest Media Group, we combine our local news publications with more focused and international titles from our specialist media team.
We are looking for a reliable and organised Operations Co‑ordinator to join our team for 9 hours per week, supporting the packing and dispatch of books and posters for our online shop. This is a part-time, fully flexible role, based in High Wycombe, and can be worked around existing commitments. No prior experience with our systems is required, as full training will be provided. A basic level of computer competence, strong attention to detail and a proactive, can‑do attitude are essential. You will be joining a small, friendly team and working with a globally recognised brand in a flexible and supportive environment.
Hours: 9 hours per week
Location: Loudwater Mill, Station Road, Loudwater, High Wycombe, HP10 9TY
Key Responsibilities:
- Collating and packing customer orders accurately and efficiently for dispatch
- Tracking, monitoring, and managing stock levels of books and posters
- Managing and replenishing the packing materials stock
- Maintaining accurate system records relating to orders and inventory
- Providing basic customer service support, including handling simple queries related to orders
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise:
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- Basic computer literacy (training on specific systems will be provided)
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Reliable, conscientious, and methodical approach to work
- Friendly and professional manner when dealing with customers
