Responsibilities
Locala Dental Care provides comprehensive dental care for children and adults with additional needs, and for other priority groups across Calderdale and Kirklees. We are seeking an experienced Dental Nurse who shares our values and is passionate about caring for those most in need. Applications are invited from enthusiastic Dental Nurses for this position based at St Johns Health Centre, supporting other clinics across Kirklees and Calderdale.
Main duties of the job
- Provide high-quality clinical support across a wide range of treatments for a diverse client base, including adults and children with additional needs, complex medical histories, challenging behaviours, and phobic patients.
- Create and maintain an environment that ensures high standards of patient care, adhering to Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) protocols.
- Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, build good working relationships, and work effectively as part of a team.
- Maintain a welcoming and positive attitude towards patients, be reliable, flexible, and willing to rotate across all sites as needed.
Qualifications
The successful applicant must be fully registered with the General Dental Council. The role also requires a relevant disclosure check with the Criminal Records Bureau.
