Job Role: 0-19 School Nurse – Kirklees

Band 6: £37,338 – £44,962

37.5 hours per week | Permanent

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a team within the 0-19 services in Kirklees, meeting the needs of children, young people, and their families.
• Demonstrate evidence-based practice and provide high-quality care.
• Work autonomously and collaboratively across organizational boundaries.
• Facilitate service delivery improvements and support change.
• Maintain safeguarding knowledge, create reports, attend child protection case conferences, and make informed decisions regarding child protection risks.
• Partner with Children’s Statutory and Voluntary Agencies to improve outcomes and address health inequalities.

Requirements

• Qualified School Nurse with experience working with children and families.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in an integrated team.
• Willingness to support service change and development.
• Knowledge of safeguarding procedures.
