An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 Physiotherapist to join our team and be part of this exciting NEW SERVICE.
Locala Choose Well provides high-quality care to patients in a clinic setting. We are patient-centred and holistic in our approach, working with patients to maximise their independence.
Job Role
Specialist MSK Physiotherapist
Band 6: £37,338 – £44,962
22.5 hours per week
Fixed Term 6 months
Location: Holme Valley Memorial Hospital, with potential to work from various locations in Kirklees as the service expands.
About The Practice
Locala Choose Well MSK Physiotherapy is a new service aiming to build a reputation for high-quality, patient-centred care. The clinic handles diverse caseloads including musculoskeletal issues, post-surgical rehab, sports injuries, and chronic pain.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Provide evidence-based, person-centred physiotherapy care, including treatment planning, assessments, and monitoring in a clinic setting.
- Develop and review treatment programs aligned with patient goals, encouraging exercise and movement using various techniques.
- Deliver hands-on, educational, and exercise-based treatments, including acupuncture, soft tissue work, taping, electrotherapies, adhering to evidence-based practices.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years’ experience, including MSK & Orthopaedic
- Acupuncture qualification
- Desirable: Occupational health experience
- Desirable: Experience in private practice settings
If you are proactive, flexible, motivated, and eager to develop a new service, we invite you to join us. The role may involve evenings and/or Saturday mornings to accommodate patient needs. The initial contract is for 22.5 hours, with potential for extension as the service grows.
