We are looking for an enthusiastic Health Visitor to join our service based at Horsfall House in Halifax, with the opportunity to work flexibly within the community. Health Visitors can make a real difference to children, families and communities and play a fundamental role in the delivery of the Healthy Child Programme, promoting child development, safeguarding children, preventing social exclusion and deprivation, and tackling important public health issues.

As a health visitor, you will be responsible for a caseload of children and families requiring various levels of intervention. You will be responsible for providing a quality service to these clients including delivering Getting Ready for Baby Sessions alongside children’s centres. We are looking for Health Visitors who embrace our Locala vision and values. Part-time hours can be negotiated to accommodate the successful candidate’s needs and the needs of the service.
