The predicted salary is between 32073 - 39043 £ per year.
Salary: £32,073 - £39,043. Working hours: up to 37.5 hours, minimum 22.5 hours per week. Fixed Term – 12 months.
Responsibilities:
- Join our team as a Band 5 Speech and Language Therapist within the Adult Community Rehabilitation Services.
- The role involves providing comprehensive care for adults in a variety of community settings across North and South Kirklees.
- Locala SLT team provide specialist triage, assessment, differential diagnosis, treatment and discharge recommendations for adults with a range of acquired communication difficulties and neurogenic voice problems.
- Care is delivered via a hybrid approach (virtual telephone & video, and direct patient care).
- Provide excellent clinical, management and peer supervision, attend regular team meetings and pursue continuing professional development.
- Support newly qualified SLT to complete RCSLT competencies and promote learning and development of identified clinical and professional skills.
- Work within an established, innovative and friendly team, collaborating with the wider multidisciplinary community rehabilitation services to develop and share skills.
- Undergo a 6‑month probationary period and meet travel requirements.
