We are seeking an experienced Research Coordinator with a strong track record of planning, facilitating and delivering research activities. This post will facilitate and coordinate research planning, study set-up and delivery across Calderdale and Kirklees on behalf of Locala, working with Calderdale & Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust and wider partners of the Calderdale and Kirklees Research Collaboration.
The role will support key aims and objectives of our group including developing trusted partnerships to increase the amount of research activity we deliver together. The post holder will strengthen cross‑organisational working, increase research visibility, support PIC activity and map community assets that can enable research delivery closer to where people live, including underserved communities.
You will also contribute to developing all aspects of the research portfolio, supporting the research strategy to use evidence to make a difference, make research everyone’s business and give everyone the chance to be involved. The post holder must have effective communication skills and must be prepared to work flexibly and collaboratively to meet the needs of the service.
If you are innovative, motivated, dynamic and forward thinking with good organisational skills this might be the right post for you. The post holder will be expected to be able to travel independently across the borough.
